Flax

Flax is a genus of annual plants from the Flax family of the same name. Flax is a grass that can be both annual and perennial.

Flax itself as a genus has more than 100 species. However, the most important of all is spinning flax (ordinary). It is an annual bare grass without hairs, with a stem 30-60 cm or more in height.
